Welcome

Casa de Toro, an exquisite three-bedroom chalet located in the Taos Ski Valley in Northern New Mexico, is available for renting any time of the year.   The casa is just 3.5 miles from the ski resort and is the perfect place to be if you:

  • desire a quiet place to stay when you're not enjoying snowmobiling, snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and some of the best downhill Alpine skiing in North America;
  • want to relax in a nice, cool mountain retreat in Northern New Mexico and take a break from the summer heat;
  • like to be immersed in history;
  • are thrilled with fishing for cutthroat, rainbow, and brown trout in a mountain stream just yards from the front door;
  • relish hiking along mountain trails, through high meadows, and around pristine lakes;
  • are excited about climbing Mt. Wheeler, the tallest mountain in New Mexico, and seeing both Taos and Red River from its peak;
  • are drawn to a mystical place while being surrounded by rugged mountains, skies ablaze with color, and golden aspen leaves in the fall; or
  • need a "base camp" while hunting for elk, mule deer, rocky mountain bighorn sheep, black bear, or mountain lion (cougar).

There really is no place like Taos, New Mexico and no place to stay like Casa de Toro.  You'll have an unforgettable experience!  For more information about reserving your spot, just contact Worth at (512) 658-2674 or Kayta at (505) 603-2813.  You can also fill in the form under the Request More Info tab immediately to the right.

Thanks for taking a look at what we've put together here and we hope to see you on the slopes or along the river.
